Woody Show-Mitch learns as few things?

Woody with GibsonThis was the best show I have ever been in (ok, Terre Haute Cigar Store and The Diviners were both pretty good, but this was so much more). The whole crew were so devoted and connected to the music and each other, we really worked together, forgave each other, and got on with job at hand.

I’ve played quite a few gigs over the years, but have never gotten so many positive reviews that people feel compelled to let me know. I heard “best show I’ve seen in Bloomington” several times, and a lot of “I never knew all that about Woody” and “you guys were awesome”, and of course “I didn’t know you could sing that low!”

It was a process that required me to grow. Most of my music is “sing along with Mitch”, not “Mitch sing with a bunch of great singers”. Most folks could sight sing, or learn a harmony by singing it once or twice. Wow. I stretched out, and let the group energy be in the lead, it was blissful, when I knew what to do!
