Hotter than August in Indiana
Yesterday, while the racers rode through the 90 plus degree heat in downtown Bloomington, Jojo and I rode the shady route south to Lake Monroe. We spent a couple cooling hours in the water, swimming floating and diving.
Jojo saw and bald eagle land in a tree, and I saw the heron which also perch, it is amazing to see these big birds in a tree, especially when you are used to seeing them walking along the shoreline. I love the look of the lake when you are in the water, so I took a few pics from several feet out.
